ADECO, as one of its development activities, in 2019 launched the project "Biodegradable hydraulic oils for the agricultural, water and forestry sectors". This project is being implemented by a team of ADECO experts together with Dr. Velibor Karanović from the Faculty of Technical Sciences (FTN) in Novi Sad.
ADECO has recognized that there is no adequate supply of biodegradable hydraulic oils on serbian market. We are witnesses of great air pollution in Serbia (water, air, land). A similar problem is with waste oils.
In line with European trends, the adoption of clear regulations and significantly greater activity of the state is expected, as well as increasing the awareness of citizens in Serbia about environmental protection, which should all contribute, among other things, to a significant increase in demand for biodegradable hydraulic oils.
As part of the implementation of this project, a market test was conducted in Vojvodina region, within which companies were identified that have expressed the need to use biodegradable hydraulic oils. After this phase, the project is currently in the phase of laboratory testing of the first samples of biodegradable hydraulic oils.
