The VOLVO company has issued an approval confirming that Adeco XHPD PRO SAE 10V-40 synthetic motor oil complies with the STD 417-0003 standard, for use in medium and heavy duty diesel engines of the Volvo Group and that it meets the specifications of Volvo VDS-4.5, Mack EOS-4.5 and Renault RLD-3.
XHPD PRO SAE 10W-40 is high quality multigrade synthetic engine oil designed for the lubrication of next-generation diesel engines, which operate under heavy loads and under heavy conditions (in trucks and buses). It is manufactured in regards to the latest international diesel exhaust standards EURO 4, EURO 5 and EURO 6, and especially for vehicles requiring the use of "low SAPS" (low sulfate ash, phosphorus and sulfur) lubricants. Particularly suitable for lubricating vehicles with EGR engines and/or SCR systems, with/without DPF filters. It is by function one of the XHPD engine oil (eXtra High Performance Diesel), with extremely long replacement periods.
