VOLVO has issued an approval confirming that the mineral engine oil ADECO® SHPD SAE 15W-40 complies with STD 417-0002 for use in heavy-duty diesel engines of the Volvo Group, and meets the specifications Volvo VDS-3, Mack EO-N, and Renault RLD-2.
This is yet another confirmation of the quality of this engine oil, which already holds the DTFR 15B110 / MB 228.3 approval from DAIMLER TRUCK.
ADECO® SHPD SAE 15W-40 is a multigrade mineral engine oil designed for use in engines equipped with EGR and SCR exhaust gas after-treatment systems. It is recommended for lubrication of highly loaded diesel engines, including trucks and buses, engines used in mining, construction, and agricultural machinery, as well as engines in light commercial vehicles.
